Interviewing @Tech Reminder: Documenting the Process
Interviewing @Tech launched this summer, providing people leaders with enhanced support for the hiring process and more consistency for candidates. The comprehensive suite of interview resources and learning opportunities became available on July 1, to help reinforce the new USG HR policy (HRAP) on employee recruitment implemented in July 2023.
A key component of the interview process is documenting these searches in accordance with federal laws and the USG Records Retention Schedule. Click here for helpful guidance about documentation.
The Administrative Services Center (ASC) Talent Acquisition team is working with hiring managers to obtain interview and evaluation documents for job postings filled and closed between July 1 and August 31.
Interview documentation may include the following:
- Interview questions
- Scoring rubrics
- Evaluation forms (required)
- Assessments or tests (required)
- Names of search committee members (required)
If you have been contacted to provide interview and evaluation documents for job postings filled and closed between July 1 and August 31, connect with your talent advisor or local HR representative to submit or upload these materials. The deadline to retrieve these items is October 31 by 5 p.m.
If you have questions, contact your ASC talent advisor. Thank you for your support in ensuring best-in-class interviewing practices and upholding the University System of Georgia’s and the Institute’s compliance requirements.
